Privacy Policy
Updated August 13, 2026
Overview
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to this site and the contact and intake forms on it. It does not cover third-party sites we link to, which have their own policies.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit a contact or intake form we collect your name, the contact details you provide (such as email and phone), and any details about your situation or coverage that you choose to share, along with a record that you consented to be contacted.
Information collected automatically. If you accept analytics, we collect limited, privacy-friendly usage data (pages viewed, approximate region, device type). We do not store full referrer URLs — only the referring site's hostname and any campaign parameters — and we do not use cross-site advertising trackers.
How we use your information
To respond to your inquiry, prepare a preliminary review, and stay in touch about the request you made.
To operate, secure, and improve the site, including understanding aggregate usage where you have consented to analytics.
To meet legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it except with service providers who help us operate the site and communications, or where required by law.
How we protect it
Form submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and are protected by a bot-prevention check (Cloudflare Turnstile), which screens automated abuse without tracking you across sites. Access to inquiry records is limited to people who need it to respond to you.
Analytics and third-party tools
Analytics (Google Analytics 4): if you accept analytics, we use GA4 to understand aggregate usage — pages viewed, approximate region, device type. It loads only after your consent, and you can decline with no loss of functionality.
Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile): runs on our forms to block automated abuse. It is always on because it is necessary to operate the forms, and it does not profile you.
Performance monitoring (Cloudflare Web Analytics): our hosting provider measures aggregate page-load performance to help us keep the site fast and reliable. It is cookieless, does not use fingerprinting, and does not track you across sites or identify you, so it runs without setting a cookie or requiring consent.
Business identification (Swan): on our commercial site, once you accept analytics, we use Swan to associate a visit with a likely business or organization. It informs business-to-business outreach and does not build a profile of you as an individual.
You control analytics through the cookie banner or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. No GA4 or Swan loads before you consent.
Retention
Inquiry records are retained for a limited period (currently up to 180 days) and then automatically deleted, unless we need to keep them longer to serve you or to meet a legal obligation.
Your choices and rights
You can decline analytics at any time using the cookie banner or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain uses. To make a request, contact info@celadoninsurance.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date below reflects the most recent version, and material changes will be reflected here.
